Do I only have to take extra salt if I have sweat marks on my clothing?

Having sweat marks on your clothing only indicates that you are a “salty sweater”. This alone does not indicate that you should increase your salt intake. Some people who do not have sweat marks but sweats a lot, loses a large amount of salt too while a person with sweat marks might not sweat a lot. In most instances sodium is included in the content of the majority of sports drinks that replenish sodium levels sufficiently.
