My child complains about headaches after vigorous play. Can drinking water help?

Many times when children play vigorously for a duration of time, it is possible that they can become dehydrated because of all the activity and sweating. This can cause a headache. Certainly drinking water and increasing his hydration levels will help and if dehydration is the cause of the headache it should clear shortly after increasing his fluid intake. To prevent these headaches from happening during play it is advisable to drink fluids during play time and to keep his hydration levels up.
